PM hoists tricolour at Red Fort on 75 yrs of establishment of Azad Hind Govt

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the Tricolour at the Red Fort, marking 75 years of the establishment of the Azad Hind Government.

Recalling the courage and determination of Netaji Subhas Bose, Prime Minister said the setting up of Azad Hind Fauj and the Azad Hind Government illustrates Netajis deep commitment towards a free India.

Prime Minister said this spirit of nationalism continues to be a guiding light for the nation..

KADAM KADAM Badhaye Jaa….A call to move ahead undettered…a call to build an independent nation. This patriotic song reverberated at the Red fort as the nation celebrated the 75th anniversary of the ‘Azad Hind Sarkar’.

Welcomed by INA veteran Lalti Ram with a cap of Azad Hindi Fauj Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the historic Red Fort…reliving the raising of the Azad Hind Flag by by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in 1943.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also unveiled a Plaque at barrack number 3 at the Red Fort. This is where members of the Azad Hind Fauj faced trial. A Museum dedicated to the life of Netaji and the freedom struggle will be built here.
