India vs West Indies 2nd Test Match: India Wins By 10 Wickets, Register 2-0 Whitewash


In the second test match of a two-match series, India crushed West Indies by 10 wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday.

With this win, India won the series by 2-0.

Chasing the target of 72 runs to win, India won the match in just 16.1 overs on the 3rd day of the match with Prithvi Shaw and KL Rahul scored 33 runs each.



After winning the toss, West Indies had decided to bat first and posted a score of 311 runs in the first innings of the match.

Roston chase scored the highest 106 runs from the West Indies side in the first Innings.

Coming with positivity on the ground, the strong batting line up of Indian side scored 367 runs in response.

The highest was scored by young wicket kipper and batsmen Rishabh pant.

Pant scored 92 runs, Ajinkya Rahane scored 80 runs, Prithvi Shaw scored 70 runs and Captain Virat Kohli scored 45 runs.

Captain Jason holder of West Indies took 5 wickets in the first Innings.

In the second Innings of the match, Indian bowling line-up thrashed West Indies batting order as the team was only managed to score 127 runs.

Completing his maiden 10 wicket haul in a match Umesh Yadav took 4 wickets and Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets to restrict West Indies at 127 runs.
